"Great name and great products! We live by the sea so Yachtdogs is the perfect brand for us and our pup. I was after a new collar and lead set for our Shorkie and Simon was so helpful and worked with us to find the colour and style we like and made the set to order. 

He has a great range of products and can make custom designs too if you want to get creative. We’re looking at adding an extension piece to the lead so I can wear it across the body for hands free walks!

Here’s Teddy, our 12-month-old cockapoo. He’s great off the lead (most of the time) but recently picked up a terrible habit of pulling. He became a pain to walk and none of enjoyed lead walking with him. I came across a post on Yachtdogs page about a figure of 8 lead and how well they worked for dogs that pull. I chatted with Simon and he explained how the leads work. We have always used a slip lead with Teddy but recently that was failing to stop him from pulling. Simon was so helpful and reassured us that a figure of 8 lead would help. I was sceptical as I’d not come across them before, but we ordered one and it arrived yesterday! 3 walks down and not a single pull from Teddy. He wasn’t impressed at first, there was a lot of scratching and flipping around trying to get it off his nose but once he’d got over it, he was fine.

"For anyone struggling with a dog that pulls like crazy on a lead - a figure of 8 lead from Yachtdogs is what you need in your life!   

We have an 18 month old Border Collie who’s training has been great .. except when walking on a lead!  She would pull and pull, and it was so frustrating! I understand that she’s still young and a lot of it is likely linked to excitement, but it would still drive us crazy as we’d tried so many ways to get her to stop!
